 Dr. Baker & his wonderful staff have been providing me with exceptional periodontal maintenance for many years. Both in-practive treatments & suggestions for my own home-care dental maintenance have been excellent. And when (occasionally) dental issues have arisen which are outside the scope Dr. Baker’s practice, he is quick to refer me to the most appropriate dental specialist for treatment. Five stars is not nearly enough!

 I am so thankful I made an appointment to see Dr. Baker (on the recommendation from my gynecologist's dentist) for a second opinion. The exam was very thorough and Dr. Baker was engaging and communicated what was going on theoughout the procedure. I felt very confident in the recommended follow up procedures and costs. Both Donna and Cesia were delight to work with as well as highly professional.

 A well oiled team of professional'did a cleaning for two hours. No pain and stitches. But my mouth feels great and I know my health is better. I'm 80 years old so I'm taking every advantage there is to improve my life. Dr Baker's team from the receptionist to the medical assistant to dr himself knows what they're doing, have done it many times and are kind helpful and highly competent. I am using Dr. Baker to do my Teeth Cleaning a couple of times a year.

 Dr. Baker saw me the same day as the referral as I was experiencing pain. He expertly examined the area that was affected and found my tooth cracked and it dropped out. He personally went to my regular dentist’s office to tell him the results. I was very impressed with his knowledge and skill. He’s competent and compassionate.

 Dr Baker and his staff are so helpful! They squeezed me in between appointments for a gum issue that popped up. And Dr Baker takes very detail notes and photos that he can talk about past observations that can apply to the current situation. He really takes a proactive approach to caring for his patients. Dr Baker takes time with his patients - I don't feel rushed out of the office.

 I was seen promptly when I contacted Donna (she’s his wife and office manager) regarding an infection that was causing multiple problems. Dr Baker was very thorough reviewing my primary dentist’s X-rays from the previous 2 visits. He does feel my symptoms are related to the sinuses. His assistant took X-rays of the area of concern. Doctor Baker allowed me to take a video providing an explanation of his findings to convey to my ENT doctor who I had seen right after visiting his office. This helped my ENT doctor so I’ll be having a sinus scan after my antibiotic regimen has been completed I highly recommend doctor Baker Periodontist to anyone who feels pain in their ear canal and who has headaches with dental pain. His fees are very low for the time he spends with us patients. Thank you both for providing me reassurance and a reasonable price for your services!

 My first visit to this office was my first to a periodontist. The staff were very personable, professional and helpful. I was nervous but became pretty calm quickly. Dr. Baker was perfect for me. Introduced himself and even had eye contact. His voice is calming. He explains what he is going to do and uses simple English. He is gentle and also very personable. I will return. My only complaint, it took over a month to get an appointment. He needs to be cloned, smile.

 Dr. Baker and his team are excellent. My last appointment was for cleaning and follow up control. The hygienist was very thorough and had a very delicate touch. My periodontal health has improved notably since I started treatment. Dr. Baker's initial intervention was as little invasive as possible, no pain and very effective as has been the follow up cleaning sessions in the past two years.

 Dr, Baker and his team did an outstanding job removing a big molar and doing a bone graft. Everything went well. I particularly liked the way he kept me informed of what was going on every step of the operation.

 As always, Tom Baker and his staff display a high level of technical competence. In the spirit of constructive criticism, I want to say that Tom and his staff spend minimal or no time instructing and reminding patients (myself) about the importance of good dental maintenance and preventive care. I think this subject is of particular importance to older patients who may be at risk of losing their teeth and subsequently having to have dental implant work done at great expense and inconvenience. I hope you will take this advice in the spirit intended. Thanks for your good work.

 I deeply appreciate Dr. Baker's thorough and conservative approach. On Thursday July 19, 2018, I came in for an exam by Dr. Baker, and my next regular cleaning at Dr. Baker's office is scheduled for Thursday, October 25, 2018, at 4PM. Following the 7/19/2018 exam, Dr. Baker spoke generally about treatments and gave me quite a bit to think about. As I mentioned to Dr. Baker, I was also considering replacement of my existing bridge (adjacent to tooth #5) with a new bridge, as suggested by Dr. Sze. Yesterday I made the decision to go ahead with the bridge work and contacted Dr. Sze's office to that effect, and also for the purpose of scheduling the work. Hopefully the work can be scheduled so as to be completed before my next cleaning appointment at Dr. Baker's office on 10/25/2018.

 I have been a patient of Dr Baker's for about 15 years. He is Fabulous. If I have an issue his staff makes sure I can get right in to see him - it has only happened a couple of times, but what a relief to know they are always there and have your back. Dr Baker is up on all the latest techniques and equipment, unlike most other periodontitis, they just do what they have always done. I live in the East Bay and the drive to SF is well worth it to see such a wonderful dentist. I think the whole experience is FABULOUS!
