| I am a previous patient of Dr. O’Brien. I had a throbbing pain in My upper back tooth and was ready to go on a long trip. I texted his emergency number and he texted my within 30 minutes. We met the next day, a Friday, he looked at it and recommended a great endodontist. Luckily the tooth was taken care of that day. | Dr. O'Brien was recommended to me by two colleagues, and I'll be forever grateful to them for that suggestion. I've been his patient for more than a year now, and I find that his appointments start on time (or sometimes even early), and his personnel are thorough, friendly, professional, and skilled. Dr. O'Brien himself is gentle and effective and does not try to push treatments the patient doesn't need. He also doesn't "skate" from one patient to others, leaving patients to sit unattended while awaiting further treatment. Today, I saw that he has an award from Tufts University for his "chairside manner." I'm in my seventies, and Dr. O'Brien is the first dentist I've actually liked and trusted since I left my hometown at age 18. Carolyn B |

| I just had my first visit with Dr. O'Brien. I was impressed right when I walked in as I was greeted kindly and enthusiastically by his receptionist. I was seated in the dental chair and received one of the best, most thorough dental cleaning that I've ever had! Dr. O'Brien then checked my teeth and gave me an up to date report on their health. I asked about improving the looks of my teeth and they gave me a mini lesson on what to do. I left the office feeling that their team had my dental health as a priority during the time I was there. | I had my first visit to Dr. O'Brien Wednesday. Walking in, I was greeted by 2 smiling faces behind the counter,it was Shirley and Dr. O'Brien dental assistant. They both made me feel comfortable like I'd been a patient for years. Dr. O'Brien checked my teeth and explained clearly what needed to be addressed on this first visit. Their work was precise and they made sure that I was comfortable. Upon finishing, Dr. O'Brien made sure I felt good about the visit. He also explained what we will do on my next scheduled visit. It was easy to make an appointment and the office is updated and clean. His receptionist Shirley couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Dr. O'brien and his medical staff were efficient, informative, very pleasant and seemed to have the most modern technology available. I was out of the office with a new porcelain crown in less than two hours (the crowns are made on site, so no need for a second visit). In all respects, it was a very positive experience. | This is the only dentist in the SLC area that would see me on short notice and had a CEREC machine to be able to design and put in a crown in 1 visit. They were fully booked but still squeezed me in, in between their other appointments. They also showed me the crown 3D imaging and design process which was very cool.
