| I tried going to a new dentist closer to home. The cleaning was painful ( like climbing out of the chair, painful). Next he wanted to drill out an old filling, He recommended refilling it with gold. Then he wanted me to get a $500 bite splint. So instead I drove from Antioch back to Dixon to have a reasonable, rational dentist replace the filling. He didn’t even need to use novocaine (it was so small). He replaced it with white filling and said I didn’t need the bite splint. I was in and out in 15 minutes. I love Dr Sanderson and will continue to drive an hour for my dental care. | First impressions: Kind, generous, accommodating, helpful. An unexpected urgent need for a dentist came up. Looked online, read some reviews, and called. We were able to get in same day, get an x-ray, antibiotic and another appointment to remedy the issue. Everyone in that office was helpful and kind in some way. Amazing staff and Dr. Sanderson was awesome too! Even though our insurance is not a part of their network, we decided to stay and finish with this dentist. I have gone in for two visits now and plan to continue treatment and preventative care. I still have a fear of the dentist, but I'm more at ease than I have been with any other dentist.
