However lately just getting in the door is tough due to the fact they are almost over board on the COVID protocols. I understand making sure people are safe and asking health questions etc, but one of the steps makes absolutely no sense. Obviously you must have a mask to enter, Makes sense, Once you come in, they ask you to read the covid board and agree you don't fit a person of risk, Makes sense, but then they tell you to get into line to go in the bathroom to wash your hands one right after the other. I walked in after waiting for the person in front of me at least 5 min while she seemed to struggle to simply wash her hands, the sink/mirror was splashed full of water, the handles were wet, the stack of napkins were wet, it was a complete mess and I felt less sanitary when I left the bathroom! "Went in to get a cleaning the other day and had a much better experience than I expected. The hygienist started by doing an x-ray of my mouth. The x-ray piece triggered my gag reflex and I threw the hygienist's hands out of my mouth right away. She then used a child sized piece which fit much better. She talked to me about my job and comforted me as she began the cleaning. I have some fillings coming up and I asked if I could have a different dentist than before so that my gag reflex could be assisted properly. The new dentist came in and very gently inspected my mouth. Both the dentist and the hygienist were very sweet and comforting through the whole appointment.
