"Come on, admit it… no one likes going to the dentist. Personally, I hate it. Always have since I was a kid. The sound of high speed drills in the air, the smell of tooth dust as my teeth are in the body shop getting reshaped yanked on and pulled out. My chest being used as a tray for torture implements…. Okay okay I’m exaggerating … a little🤗. What I’ve learned about the dentist is this; regarding cleaning and maintenance visits, if you are consist and do them… the likelihood of needing to go for all the aforementioned unpleasantry is far less than if you don’t. Thus says the voice of experience in my life.
Having said that, I’ve been a patient at doctor Franck’s office for a couple years now with a need for a crown and some other post root canal work, (which she did an excellent job on) and since then, I have been conducting regular visits for routine cleaning and X-rays with no need for any additional body shop work.

"I recently relocated to Placer County. There is always fear and trepidation in a search to find new doctors and medical practices to replace what you left behind. I consulted with several dental practices in Rocklin and Roseville, only to be told they were not accepting new patients or they did not accept my insurance. That was hard to believe since I am a CALPERS retiree with 28 years of government service! However, although my search lasted 7 months I finally found a dental practice that truly rolled out the welcome mat for new patients (including old government retirees). They welcomed my CALPERS insurance and even discounted my first visit. Dr. Alkordy explained in layman’s terms my current dental status, as well as her recommendation for treatment. The Franck Family Dental staff was professional and courteous and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable in this setting. My husband spoke with Genesis to set up the appointment and she was very professional, courteous, and helpful. Completed paperwork prior to going to my appointment, and was ready to see Dr. Franck within ten minutes of arriving for my appointment. I'm a little apprehensive about dentists, but Dr. Franck put me completely at ease, diagnosed my issue, and took care of setting up an appointment for an oral surgeon the same day. My only regret -- that I couldn't get in to see the oral surgeon until the following week. But that is not a Dr. Franck issue -- that is just the way the oral surgeon is booked. Once I get this tooth that is causing me an issue taken care of, both my husband and I will be seeing Dr. Franck as our family dentist. She is awesome, and the staff are awesome as well. "I'm back to the best! Dr. Franck filled 2 of my lower teeth in 2009. In January of this year a filling on the opposite side fell out and I had it replaced at a "high tech" dentist in Auburn. The filling was rough and ugly and fell out 3 weeks later! Their reply? "we can't guarantee that filling without purchasing a $300+ night guard from us, so we will have to charge" (the night guard would have taken 3 weeks to make anyway!) I immediately went to Dr. Franck, because after all, her fillings have stayed in for over 3 years now! "The biggest fear sitting in the dentist chair is the shot for me. But at Franck Family Dental I know Dr. Franck is going to do it painlessly...you lay back, don't see the shot comming because of how she positions her hands, then she tells you to breath and at that moment it is already inserted in your mouth. The hygienist was great with my 16-year-old son. She was upbeat and did a fabulous job of educating my son on proper dental hygiene (flossing), the reasons behind it and answering his questions. He was not uncomfortable during the cleaning, although he did have a couple of areas of sensitive gum inflammation, which the hygienist dealt with very professionally. The consultation and advice I got from Dr Franck was very thorough and I felt very confident that our needs had been addressed as well as I had hoped. We are happy to have found a new dental home."
