"Wow! I am privileged to give this review. I chose Dr. Mells’ practice from a list given by my insurance company. I read rave reviews about her and I agree with them. I had broken off a tooth and another dentist quoted almost $5000 to fix it with no alternatives. He said my insurance would not pay anything. I asked Dr. Mells if it costs that much , could I have a payment plan because I cannot afford it. She was so nice, saying of course, they would work with me. However, when she looked at my x-ray and checked my tooth, she said I could choose an alternative, less trauma, less expense. She said they could add a tooth onto my partial. I am so thankful because she is saving me thousands of dollars. My insurance paid most, my copay being minimal! Then, when during the extraction, which was virtually painless, her tech was patting my arm and for a bit, patting my face, which was surprisingly soothing. She said she does it to relax people. "After many decades of bouncing from one dentist to the next. I've finally found a dentist that truly cares about his patients and is very knowledgeable and skilked! I was referred to Dr. Beye by my 92 y.o. mother. I noted the genuine care and concern he had for her. He is kind, patient and thorough. For myself, I initially was pleased as he is the first dentist I've had that hasn't tried to pressure me into unnecessary and costly work (which is a practice that is far too common amongst others in the profession). I also enjoyed the thoroughness of his exam and his hygienist really clean my teeth well. I typically don't write reviews, but Dr. Beye and his staff demonstrated exceptional care this week and I felt compelled to commend him. Earlier this week I was drinking some cold water and my tooth ignited in pain. I called Dr. Beye's office after work and left a message.
