We had to scrap the X-ray entirely at our previous appointment because he gagged way too much. During our last appointment the technician brought out some salt and put it on his tongue and he was able to tolerate the X-rays without all the excessive gagging! Well done! I also brought my little grandson with me and not only did they let me bring him back with me but they were so kind as to include him in the toothbrush and paste goodie bag at the end! He even got stickers! As for myself, I have needle anxiety and they let me have a moment before injecting me with the numbing, and it’s always so painless! In the end, she trusted him and the staff to move forward with their process- without any anesthetic may I add. Amanda comforted her, while Lori and Dr. Nick quickly assisted Dr. Miller. The cavity was removed in 5 min- super impressive! Then Dr. Nick quickly completed the filling in an additional 10 minutes (also super impressive!) with Lori’s efficient assistance and instrument management.
